Every fairy tale needs a royal court. This collection provides the essential four — King, Queen, Prince, and Princess — carved from beech wood and hand-painted in the rich colours of traditional royal dress.
The figures are deliberately generic in their royalty. They carry crowns and robes but no names, no fixed story, no prescribed kingdom. They work equally well in an original play narrative, alongside the fairy tale creatures collection, or as the central figures of a Waldorf seasonal story. A child who has the Snow Queen also needs a court; a child building a castle scene needs inhabitants worthy of it.
As with all Mr Fox Crafts people figures, these are faceless — leaving character, emotion, and the direction of the story entirely to the child.
