The Modern People collection covers the full human lifespan — from Baby and Toddler through to Old Man and Old Woman — in both light and dark skin tones. With 21 figures, it is the most complete general people collection Mr Fox Crafts makes, and the only one designed to reflect the diversity of an everyday community.
Each figure is faceless by design. Without fixed expressions or identities, the figures take on whatever role the child assigns them: parent, neighbour, teacher, stranger, friend. This open quality is what makes them well suited to Montessori and Waldorf environments, as well as any play setting where children are building their own social narratives.
All figures are carved from solid beech wood, painted with water-based paint, and finished with natural linseed oil. CE certified for children aged 3 and above, made in Bulgaria.
