Africa and Asia are home to some of the most studied, most painted, and most recognisable animals on earth — and also to some of the least known. This collection reflects both. Alongside lion, giraffe, elephant, and zebra, you will find the Okapi, the Addax Antelope, the Hyrax, the African Wild Dog, and the Fennec Fox — animals that reward the curiosity of a child who has moved beyond the standard safari set.
The African collection forms the core, with 30+ species spanning predators, prey, primates, and reptiles. The Asian collection adds Tiger, Giant Panda, Red Panda, and Tapir. Lion and Lioness are available separately, as are Elephant and Baby Elephant — allowing family groups and predator-prey dynamics that sustain more complex, extended play.
Each figure is carved from beech wood and hand-painted to reflect the real animal. The coloring and form are true to the species; a certain level of abstraction leaves room for a child’s own narrative.
